Blazers talking with Ferry, Miller says

Portland Trail Blazers president Larry Miller confirmed Wednesday morning that the team is talking with Danny Ferry about the Blazers’ vacant general manager position.

Yahoo! Sports reported late Tuesday evening that Ferry was scheduled to meet Wednesday with the Blazers in Portland to discuss the job.

Ferry was one of three candidates originally contacted by Spencer Stuart, a search firm the Blazers hired while former GM Kevin Pritchard still held the position.
