Buchanan says Blazers are confident Matthews will join team

Chad Buchanan, Portland Trail Blazers director of college scouting, said Monday that the team will not have confirmation until Tuesday morning that Wesley Matthews has joined the roster.

However, Buchanan added: “We are confident he will be a Blazer.”
