Media outlet reports that Blazers will sign Steven Hill

Media reports today said that the Blazers intend on signing Steven Hill, a 7-footer who played on the Blazers summer league team in 2008, and briefly with the Thunder two seasons ago, to a training camp contract. The report also said that Hill is en route to Portland and is expected to be available Monday night against Utah.

The signing would come in the wake of Jeff Pendergraph’s season-ending knee injury Thursday night, which left the Blazers depleted at center.
