Roy probable and Przybilla questionable for Blazers tonight
TUALATIN — Brandon Roy is officially “probable” for tonight’s game vs. the Hornets, but he’s a bit more assured than that. When told about his status for tonight’s game during shootaround, Roy just grinned and said “I don’t know that means. I’m going to play.”
The bigger mystery is whether center Joel Przybilla makes his highly-anticpiated return tonight. The center has been rehabilitating is right knee for nearly a year now, but his catching a stomach virus Wednesday may preclude him from stepping on the court tonight. Przybilla did participate in shootaround today, but did not address the media. He’s officially questionable.
“He’s feeling much better…He wants to go, but we want to see him run up and down a little bit,” Blazers coach Nate McMillan said. “I’ll listen to Joel, and I’ll listen to (head athletic trainer) Jay (Jensen), see how he feels and make a decision before the game.
McMillan said he would cap Przybilla at around 10 to 15 minutes, maybe even five to seven if he played. Roy would be limited to about 30-35 minutes.
