Robin Lopez tweets he will be out six to seven weeks with broken hand
Portland Trail Blazers center left Monday’s 108-95 win over the San Antonio Spurs in the third quarter with a fractured right hand.
The Blazers have yet to release any official info regarding the injury. So Lopez took to twitter to announce the prognosis himself.
Thanks for all your thoughts & support! It’ll be 6 or 7 weeks til I’m on the floor again thanks to this bum hand. Can’t wait!!! #NeverSayDie

Portland Trail Blazers coach Terry Stotts stressed that the Blazers will have to take a “by committee” approach to filling the absence of Lopez.
“It’s frustrating,” Lopez said Monday night. “We’ve been playing so well and I’ve been having such a great time being a part of this team and this season which I plan to still be. And I plan to do that on the sidelines as a teammate. It’s going to be a little frustrating.”
Stotts said he’s yet to decide on a starter in Kaman’s place.
“It’ll either be Chris or Joel or Thomas or Meyers. Or Dorell,” he said.
Thomas Robinson said he hasn’t received any indication from Stotts regarding a decision.
“He said it’s a game-day decision,” Robinson said.”Right now I just have to do what I’ve been doing, staying ready. So when I do get out there I can make something happen. And that’s all I can worry about right now. The rest is up to the people above me.”
