Report: Trail Blazers Part Ways With International Scout Jason Filippi
The Portland Trail Blazers have had some shifts in the front office this offseason and there was reportedly one other change prior to the season.
The Cleveland Plain-Dealer’s Chris Haynes reports via twitter that the Blazers have parted ways with now-former international scout Jason Filippi.
Jason Filippi, a well-respected international scout, on the market after not being retained by #Blazers after 10 years of service, I'm told.

Former college scouting director Chad Buchanan left the Blazers after the playoffs to become the assistant general manager for the Charlotte Hornets.
The contract for former NBA scouting director Michael Born was not renewed in May after 10 seasons with the team.
It hasn’t been an offseason of just departures, however. Cap analyst Joe Cronin was promoted to the position of Director of Player Personnel back in July.
