Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry made his epic return in Monday night’s game 4 against the Portland Trail Blazers. Curry had a historic performance, including an unprecedented 17 points in overtime. And because of the momentous occasion, Sean Highkin and I got together on Tuesday morning to recap what we saw.

We also briefly discussed his place in league history as the first ever unanimous Most Valuable Player.

The Warriors have a commanding 3-1 series lead heading into Wednesday night’s Game 5. The Warriors have a chance to close the Blazers out, but Sean and I also discussed whether anybody else in the playoffs can put up as good of a fight as the Blazers have in this series.

We also had a brief discussion on the Spurs-Thunder series but ignored the Eastern Conference.

Game 5 of the Raptors-Heat series is tonight in Toronto at 5 p.m. on TNT. Tip-off of Blazers-Warriors is at 7:30.

We’ve had a very busy week on the podcast. We recorded on Monday after the Sacramento Kings made a head coach hiring, as well. Moving from “Making The Band: Memphis” to “Love & Hip-Hop: Sacramento” signals Dave Joerger’s desire to be a Network Lifer.
