And then this series got weird.

The Blazers apparently found a snake in the visitors Locker Room in San Antonio.

It all started with an Instagram from none other than the Blazers official ambassador to the social network, Mo Williams.

Williams took a picture of the snake in the Blazers locker room with the caption saying:

We get in the lockerroom n its a damn snake, yea a snake in the lockerroom. Man we was scared as hell

Casey Holdahl of TrailBlazers.com followed up via twitter.

The rattlesnake was in Thomas Robinson’s locker when the team arrived.

Robinson sat in his locker, saw something curled up in the corner, did a double take, realized it was a rattler, jumped about 20 feet

I instantly started thinking about the most iconic scene from Samuel L. Jackson in the classic movie “Snakes On A Plane.”

To have been a fly on the wall when they found the snake would have been amazing and good thing nobody got bit.

Here’s more from Holdahl:

“Man, me and Thomas at our lockers as usual,” explained Trail Blazers guard Will Barton. “We’re changing and he goes to put his shoes down and he’s like ‘What the …?’ You know what he said. He’s like ‘There’s a snake under my locker dog!’ And I’m like ‘Stop playing.’ He’s like ‘No for real! A real snake!’ And we just looked under there and there was a snake. I was scared!”

Holdahl also “investigates” who on the Spurs may have played the prank.
