Terry Stotts said that there was no update on C.J. McCollum’s status but after Stotts’ pregame media availability the Blazers announced that McCollum has been cleared to play in 3-on-3 but there is no return date set.

From the @TrailBlazersPR twitter account:

Trail Blazers G CJ McCollum (left foot fracture) has been cleared for 3-on-3 play. No timetable set for his return.

The rookie recently underwent a CT scan on the foot.

McCollum participated in shooting drills before tonight’s game.

Portland’s lottery pick in the 2013 draft broke the fifth metatarsal of his left foot in training camp.

McCollum has stayed upbeat during the healing process, but the process is not over as he has not been fully cleared to play in 5-on-5 action.
