CJ McCollum will get CT scan in a month on foot

Multiple reports from Boston report that Blazers guard and first round draft pick CJ McCollum is progressing in his recovery and will be reevaluated in one month.

McCollum had been walking around with two shoes after removing the walking boot and could even be seen working on ball-handling with both shoes on at Blazers practice.

Reports from Boston say he had an x-ray on his foot.

Chris Haynes of CSNNW.com reports:

Portland Trail Blazers rookie CJ McCollum (broken left foot) finally got the results back from the X-ray he took on Wednesday. The results came back as planned, he is progressing with no setbacks, McCollum told CSNNW.com.

In a month, McCollum will have a CT Scan, the next phase in his rehabilitation.

Dr. Anderson, who performed the ultra sound procedure on McCollum a little over a month ago, got back to McCollum this afternoon to inform him of the good news.

Casey Holdahl of Trail Blazers.com reported on McCollum’s progress on twitter:

Joe Freeman reported via twitter on McCollum’s status as well:

McCollum talked about keeping his frustration with his broken foot in check with The Columbian before the season. McCollum initially broke his foot on October 5th and had an ultrasound procedure to repair the foot 10 days later.
