Multiple reports from media who were at the Trail Blazers practice this afternoon in Los Angeles prior to their game tomorrow against the Clippers say that LaMarcus Aldridge sat Thursday’s practice with pain in his left knee.

Joe Freeman of The Oregonian and Casey Holdahl of TrailBlazers.com both reported via twitter that Aldridge did not practice and will be examined by doctors later.

Holdahl:

LaMarcus Aldridge missed practice with left knee pain and is being examined by doctors, according to Terry Stotts.

Freeman:

The #Blazers did not have details to offer regarding Aldridge’s left knee ailment, beyond he felt soreness and decided to get checked out.

Chris Haynes of Comcast Sportsnet Northwest reported last night on twitter that Aldridge left the game in the fourth quarter and came back to the bench with ice on his knees. Haynes reported on why Aldridge left after the game, saying he is “ok.”

Haynes tweeted:

If you missed my Talkin Ball hit, LaMarcus Aldridge is ok. Says he went in early to get his knees iced, knowing he wouldn’t return to game.

If anything comes of the examination for Aldridge, we’ll have that for you as soon as it comes.
