M-A-S-H report
Earlier in the day, Nicolas Batum said he was a gametime decision for tonight’s game due to soreness in his back. However, Batum did in fact put up shots during a workout some 90 minutes before tipoff.
It will be a wait-and-see deal for Batum but reserve forward/center Joel Freeland should definitely be available for tonight. During Friday practice, Freeland took a poke in his right eye from teammate Nolan Smith, and that would have been the end of it but an hour later, Freeland said he could not see a thing. When the vision did return, “I was seeing four of everything.”
Freeland visited a doctor and no damage was found. There’s no redness in his eye either, and Freeland will not be wearing protective goggles. … because those are lame, if you’re not named Horace Grant
