Blazers’ Jeff Pendergraph out for the season

According to his Twitter account, Blazers forward/center Jeff Pendergraph is out for the season with a torn ACL suffered against Utah Thursday night. Pendergraph injured his knee in the second quarter, then flew back to Portland for an MRI Friday.

The tweet itself read: “Tough news today y’all, I’m out for the season with torn ACL.”

Nate McMillan said after Thursday’s game that the team would look to bring in another big man to workout with them.
