Blazers' meeting with Jazz's Matthews went well, Buchanan says

Chad Buchanan, Portland Trail Blazers director of college scouting, said Friday the team’s meeting Thursday night in Portland with Utah Jazz guard Wesley Matthews “went well.”

Asked whether the Blazers have made a contract offer to Matthews, Buchanan said the organization is “considering our options right now.”

Matthews, a second-year guard from Marquette, is a restricted free agent.
