Interview: Suns' Frye on Blazers playing without Roy, double teams

Transcript of an interview Friday with Phoenix Suns center Channing Frye.

Frye on the Blazers playing without Brandon Roy:

I view it as just another option for them. Just another guy who’s comfortable handling the ball and running the offense, and can really be a threat to score. I think it’s tough any time you miss an All-Star like that.

It’s all part of the game, man. Injuries happen. It’s a long season. It’s just about lasting throughout the season, and continuing to try and get better and do the right thing.

On Phoenix taking away Portland’s LaMarcus Aldridge and Andre Miller since Roy is out of the lineup:

If somebody is scoring, we’re going to change stuff up on them. So, of course, we’re being a lot more aggressive. We’re continuing to be aggressive, and continuing to make other people make shots. Make other people dribble the ball up, and just take them out of their comfort zone.
