Fernandez says he felt fine playing against Mavericks

Portland Trail Blazers guard Rudy Fernandez said he felt fine playing against Dallas on Thursday.

Fernandez was a late addition to the active lineup, and was originally a game-time decision.

Following the victory, Fernandez said he did not experience significant pain while running the court, and should be able to play without problem on Portland’s upcoming road trip.

He missed last Sunday’s loss to Phoenix due to a left quadriceps strain.
