Shootaround notes: Wizards-Blazers

Portland Trail Blazers coach Nate McMillan said he will use the same starting five — Andre Miller, Brandon Roy, Nicolas Batum, LaMarcus Aldridge and Marcus Camby — tonight against the Washington Wizards at the Rose Garden. McMillan added that the team is not dealing with any injury issues.

An upbeat Roy wore a hooded No. 3 Washington Huskies sweatshirt after a Friday morning shootaround at the team’s practice facility in Tualatin, Ore.

“Some people like their schools,” Roy said. “I love my school.”

McMillan on the Wizards: “They are a team that’s going to try and keep the game close, and steal it at the end. For us, they were able to do that the last game. And we need to come out, be the aggressors, attack their defense. You’re going to get open looks against this team, but you don’t want to settle. We want to get to the rim and attack their schemes. They play a lot of zone defense; they will press and drop back into a zone. So, that can’t be a stop sign tonight. (We) need to attack that.”
