CAMBY, HOWARD TO VISIT ST. CECILIA SCHOOL WEDNESDAY

Portland’s veteran big men to emphasize the importance of reading to young students.

WHO: Marcus Camby, Juwan Howard, Blaze the Trail Cat

WHAT: The Portland Trail Blazers are hosting a series of Read to Achieve assemblies throughout March to help celebrate Reading Month.

Each assembly includes a visit from Blaze, a tricycle race pitting teacher and student, an appearance from two Trail Blazers players and a reciting of the Read to Achieve pledge. The Trail Blazers will also donate new books to each school’s library.
