Bayless says he’s unsure whether he’ll play against Lakers

Portland Trail Blazers guard Jerryd Bayless said a bruised left thigh is causing him serious pain.

Due to the injury, Bayless said he is unsure whether he will be able to play during Saturday’s home game against the Los Angeles Lakers.

Bayless played 11 minutes and 54 seconds of scoreless ball during Portland’s 96-93 victory over San Antonio on Thursday.

He spent the majority of his time off the court by riding a stationary bicycle.

Following the game, both of Bayless’ knees were heavily wrapped.

The second-year guard is also dealing with a sprained wrist, which he suffered during a road loss to Utah on Wednesday.
