Update: Roy will not travel with Blazers

PORTLAND — Trail Blazers guard Brandon Roy will not travel with the team to Houston for Portland’s two-game road trip.

Roy, who is recovering from a strained right hamstring, will be re-evaluated next Monday.

The Blazers (27-20) face the Rockets on Friday and Dallas on Saturday.

Roy leads Portland in average points (23.1) and ranks second in assists (5.0).
