Update: Przybilla traveling back to Portland for further tests
Portland Trail Blazers center Joel Przybilla will return to Portland to undergo further testing on his ruptured right patella tendon and dislocated patella, the team announced Wednesday. An update on Przybilla’s status is expected Thursday.
Przybilla suffered the injuries during the first quarter of Portland’s 85-81 road victory Tuesday night against the Dallas Mavericks.
At this time, Przybilla is out indefinitely.
No announcement has been made yet by the team concerning Brandon Roy’s recent shoulder injury. Roy was expected to undergo a magnetic resonance imaging test today.
The Blazers face the San Antonio Spurs at 5:30 tonight in San Antonio.
