GAME NOTES: Both Heritage and Hudson’s Bay had their Week 1 games decided in the closing minutes. Kahai Umiamaka caught an 8-yard touchdown pass from Nikki Scott with 27 seconds left to beat Evergreen. Hudson’s Bay had two fourth-quarter drives ended by fumbles, the second at midfield with a minute to play. Scott, a freshman, passed for 253 yards and two TDs last week. Timberwolves managed 73 yards rushing. Umiamaka had four catches for 62 yards. Bay QB Carter Morse threw for 184 yards on 8-of-11 passing and one TD. He also had a 1-yard TD run. Jacquez McDonald had three catches for 135 yards. The Eagles struggled for consistency in the running game.
