GAME NOTES: This is the first meeting of these two teams since they were Trico League rivals in 2015 – King’s Way Christian’s first season as a full-fledged member of the Trico, and Kalama’s last. Kalama won that meeting 42-41. Now a 2B school, Kalama has played outstanding defense in its first three games. Kalama rushed for 169 of its 300 yards last week led by Trevor Wetmore (69), Jacob Herz (60) and Corbyn Byrnes (49). King’s Way suffered its first shutout loss since becoming an 1A team two seasons ago. The Knights scored at least 18 points in every game last season.
