Players to watch: Battle Ground QB Gunner Talkington passed for 2,552 yards and 28 TDs in 2014; Kent-Meridian QB Ben Woods passed for 1,940 yards and 17 TDs last season, but also 17 INTs.

Game notes: Talkington passed for 289 yards and 4 TDs last season against the Royals. Battle Ground RB Curtis Stradley earned starts late last season and twice rushed for more than 100 yards. The Royals are athletic. WR Emmanuel Daigbe caught 40 passes  for 9 TDs last season. RBs Malik Woolery and Gabriel Gallman are small, but also tough and quick.
