No fan of pink, plus Aliotti fined
The game is long over, but Oregon’s 62-38 win over Washington State on Saturday gave Northwest football fans two topics for this weekend’s tailgate parties.
First, most football players and fans are fine with wearing pink in support of efforts to fight breast cancer and other diseases that affect women. We all have mothers, wives, sisters, girlfriends, ect.
Then there’s this guy ….
So, yeah. Got this voicemail Friday. Didn’t leave a name or number. But this dude was NOT a fan of the pink helmets: https://t.co/CiFTPfd7XB

Second, Oregon defensive coordinator Nick Aliotti is Public Enemy No. 1 among Cougar fans. His post-game rant about Mike Leach leaving in his starters and continuing to throw downfield earned him plenty of ridicule among the Crimson and Gray, as shown by the comments below if you click here.
The really good stuff starts about 5:00 on the video above.
That means it might be a slightly less jolly Christmas in the Aliotti household, according to the coach’s daughter.
