Trail Blazers release Training Camp roster, add Omari Johnson for camp
The Portland Trail Blazers announced the 18 players who will be on the roster for training camp, which begins on Tuesday at the team’s practice facility. We had known the names of almost all of the players who will be in camp, with the exception of late add Omari Johnson.
Veteran swingman Mike Miller is also on the training camp roster. He was part of the trade that netted Portland a future second rounder to absorb the contract of Brendan Haywood before eventually waiving him. Miller’s $3.2 million contract is fully guaranteed. Portland can open up a roster spot by waiving him but they can also use his salary later on if a trade presents itself.
