Preseason Primer: Blazers host Phoenix Suns

The Portland Trail Blazers will continue their exhibition season tonight against the Phoenix Suns at the Moda Center with tip-off at 7 P.M. They will be without Nicolas Batum who suffered a concussion in Tuesday’s practice.

The status of LaMarcus Aldridge (quad), Mo Williams (ankle), Earl Watson (calf) and Dorell Wright who sat out on Monday, will likely be announced around 5:15 when Terry Stotts addresses the media before the game.

The Suns are a young team with a new general manager and new coach.

If you’re not at the Moda Center, the only way to catch tonight’s game locally is to listen to it on the radio on 620 AM KPOJ.

The Trail Blazers have one more true home exhibition game on October 20th. They will play the Utah Jazz in Boise, Idaho, the city their D-League affiliate Idaho Stampede calls home, on Friday night.
