ANNUAL “WINTER WEATHER RECAP” MEETING NEXT TUESDAY!

The ever popular Oregon AMS annual “Winter Weather Recap” meeting is next Tuesday, March 13th at 7pm at KOIN-TV studios in Portland. Hosted by KOIN-TV Chief Meteorologist Bruce Sussman, this meeting is sure to be well attended once again this year. KPTV Chief Meteorologist Mark Nelsen will recap the winter and see how it stacked up. Was this a typical La Nina? Bruce Sussman will then give a presentation on “TV Weather Careers.” Refreshments and cookies will be offered to all meeting attendees! Bruce also tells us that he has something “special” that he is going to hand out to the “budding meteorologists” in the audience. I am sure it will be interesting and fun for all ages. Please see complete driving directions and parking information on the night of the meeting at: http://www.ametsoc.org/chapters/oregon

Also, check out the amazing lineup we have coming this spring on our web site! Hope to see you all there this coming Tuesday!

Stay tuned!
