Central Washington linebacker Kevin Haynes and receiver Jesse Zalk have been named first-team all-conference by the Great Northwest Athletic Conference.

Haynes, a redshirt freshman from Battle Ground, ranked second in the conference with 99 tackles. His five interceptions finished tied for the conference lead.

Zalk, a Prairie grad who was named first-team kick returner, leads Central in all-purpose yards with 113.8 per game. The sophomore leads the GNAC with an average of 29.1 yards per kick return.

The Wildcats ended the season 7-4 overall and 4-2 in conference play, finishing in a three-way tie for second.
