Week 2 Roundup: How Clark County players fared

In the second full weekend of college football, more Clark County players took the field as several Northwest small colleges started their seasons.

Colorado State

Garrett Grayson, Heritage, Sr. QB — Grayson was was 31-of-58 passing for 434 yards with three touchdowns and two interceptions in Colorado State’s 37-24 loss at Boise State.

“They came out and punched us early in the mouth. It kinda of took us a while to respond, I think,” Grayson said. “Then I shot us in the foot with a late interception while we were driving.”

Central Washington

Tyler Grant, Prairie, Fr. OL — Did not play.
Kevin Haynes, Battle Ground, So. LB — Started and had five tackles (3 solo, 2 assisted) in the Wildcats’ 48-14 loss to Montana.

Southern Oregon

Austin Dodge, Skyview, Sr., QB — Completed 21 of 30 passes for 281 yards and two touchdowns as the No. 22 Raiders’ beat No. 2 Carroll College 38-35.
