9:00-10:00am Make the Most of your Compost!
Join IP Farm Apprentice Alan for an in-depth, yet easy to understand session on composting. It will be educational, scientific, adventurous & FUN! This is a family friendly event! There will be something for kids & adults alike! So, if you’re at all curious about compost… this class is for you!

9:00-9:30am Farm Fresh Cooking DemoBreakfast: Paleo Style!
Join Mary Helmes of Paleo in a Pinch for a fabulous Paleo Breakfast Demo{and sample!}… Fried Egg Veggie Sauté – made with IP Pastured Eggs! {paleoinapinch.tumblr.com}

10:00-11:00am Farm Tour
Join Farmer Matt for a walking tour around IP! See, hear & learn all about this Diversified Family Farm! This is an awesome opportunity to get to know your food & your farmer! Dress appropriately ~ Boots, Hats, Sunscreen & Water Bottles are a good idea!

11:00-11:30am Farm Fresh Cooking Demo – Bone Broths!
Mary Helmes of Paleo in a Pinch will take you down the path of Bone Broths and their many benefits! She’ll explain how to make them, their many health benefits and also how to use them by making fabulous Fall Soups & Stews… She’ll even have a soup to sample! {paleoinapinch.tumblr.com}

1:00-3:00pm Pastured Meat Tasting
Join FarmMama Jen for a sampling of several IP Pastured Meats… Chicken, Lamb, Pork & Beef. Experience all that IP has to offer!

IP Apprentice Alan will take you through the basics of making cheese at home! He will be making soft cheese {Chevre & Formage Blanc} made with goat milk and also have a batch of feta {made previously} for all to see & taste!
