Fair Food Feast Parade ~ Day 6

I continue to eat.  YAY!  I still haven’t sampled a second deep fried goodie from the Sweet Cheeks truck but I think I might be real close. I’m debating between the Deep Fried Twizzler Twinkie and the Deep Fried Bacon Wrapped Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup.  Until then, here’s today’s parade:

P1060336

Soft Taco Supreme from the Mexican booth next to the Milkshake Barn. A delicious mess — with sour cream and extra jalapenos. Mmmm.

P1060354

Nerd Rope! LOVE IT! It and other awesome candy can be found in the little white truck on the Main Midway near the coffee stand. They also sell sunscreen and Tums there (ask me how I know).

P1060359

Strawberry Banana Orange smoothie from the vendor just outside the Grandstands. It was very good although it almost tasted like the banana wasn’t ripe enough. Picky picky picky.

P1060389

Hawaiian Shave Ice with Lime and Guava. Lime is a favorite and Guava was a new flavor for me. I’d give it — and the combo — a thumb’s up. The Guava tasted a lot like POG juice.

P1060392

Strawberry Cookies and Creme milkshake. Did you know you can combine flavors any way you want? Just 50 cents extra if you really go off-roading. This combo was a favorite discovery last year. Usually strawberry is too sweet for me but the cookies balance it perfectly.

P1060394

The best burger at the Fair! Ms. Burger from the Burger Buggy. Hamburger patty and a hearty slice of ham. So good, I didn’t add any condiments.

P1060405

Odd blue raspberry lemonade from the nice guy working the grandstand stairs. It ended up tasting like the white part of those red-white-and-blue popsicles. Not bad, but I will probably stick to more traditional flavors of lemonade.

P1060414

Working hard to pull off a section of Red Rope. I tried to share it with a friend but it turns out to not be gluten-free.

I am a Clark County Fair Fanatic and eat all things fried during the glorious 10 days of The Fair. I have lived in Clark County since 2004 and consider it the second-best decision of my life. I am married to a great guy named Rob (first-best decision) who graciously carries my stuff and takes my picture every time I eat something at The Fair. We have two indoor cats and lots of deer, rabbits, and coyotes who are kind enough to stay outside.
