GAME NOTES: It’s been a hot-and-cold season for King’s Way Christian so far. The Knights have averaged 40 points in their two wins, but 14 in their two losses. QB Kemper Shrock was very efficient against Riverside, completing 18 of 19 passes for 248 yard and three TDs. Gage Koenders has rushed for 411 yards and four TDs this season. La Center held a potent Kalama squad to 14 points last week, although the Chinooks were playing without injured star quarterback Alex Dyer. Wyatt Dodson, last year’s leading rusher in Clark County, had his best game of the season last week, rushing for 85 yards on 15 carries. Tom Lambert passed for 63 yards and rushed for 31 more. La Center has won nine consecutive Trico League games dating back to a 2015 loss to Kalama.
