2017 MEETING: Did not play.

GAME NOTES: Parkrose went 0-9 in 2017. The Broncs finished seventh in the 5A Northwest Oregon Conference. Former standout receiver Keanon Lowe became Parkrose’s head coach last February. The Broncs have lost 23 consecutive games. Prairie finished 3-6 in 2017. The Falcons finished third in the 3A Greater St. Helens League. The Falcons lost a three-team tiebreaker for the third playoff berth. Prairie hasn’t won a season opener since 2013. Prairie also has a new head coach in Mike Peck, who served as the team’s offensive coordinator last season. Junior AJ Dixson was run Peck’s spread offense. His receivers include speedster Nolan Mickenham. OL/DL Conor Rogers is the lone returning all-leaguer.
