GAME NOTES: Kelso QB AJ Hoggatt underwent knee surgery last week and will be out until late October. Quentin Nelson took over at QB and passed for 84 yards last week, including a 20-yard TD pass in the fourth quarter. Max McDaniel rushed for 112 yards. Centralia led 22-3 last week before losing on a TD pass in the final minute of the game. The Tigers gained 401 yards last week. Jose Pineda rushed for 152 yards. Centralia and Kelso both faced R.A. Long and Mark Morris in the first two weeks. Centralia beat Mark Morris 26-6 and lost to R.A. Long 54-21. Kelso beat Mark Morris 40-0 and R.A. Long 48-21. But Kelso’s wins came with Hoggatt at QB.
