La Center’s England, Muffett selected to 1A softball state all-tournament team
Abby England and Megan Muffett, who led La Center’s softball team to a state runner-up finish in May, were selected to the Class 1A state all-tournament team, as announced Wednesday.
England and Muffett, both recently graduated seniors, were first-team selections to the all-tournament team, which is voted on by coaches of teams that participated at state. Montesano’s Sam Stanfield, who led the Bulldogs to the state title, was the unanimous choice for MVP.
La Center won the 1A state title in 2016.
