LAST WEEK: King’s Way Christian lost to Stevenson 19-18; Benson beat The Dalles 14-0.

GAME NOTES: King’s Way Christian completed league play at 2-2. The Knights must wait to see what happens with the other league teams to find its playoff future. If Columbia-White Salmon beats Stevenson, King’s Way will claim the No. 2 seed and face the Hoquiam-Forks winner in Week 10. If Stevenson wins and Castle Rock loses to La Center, King’s Way will be the No. 3 seed and face Montesano in Week 10. If Stevenson and Castle Rock win, King’s Way will be in a three-team tiebreaker with Stevenson and Castle Rock to determine the Nos. 2 and 3 teams to the playoffs. King’s Way QB Liam Nabors was held to 109 yards passing on a soft field at Stevenson last week. He has 1,977 yards and 23 TDs for the season. The Knights return to a turf field this week at Jefferson. Benson’s win last week snapped a three-game losing streak of three consecutive lopsided shutout losses.
