Washougal graduate Casey Johnson hired as information director for WIAA
Washougal High School graduate Casey Johnson has been hired as the new Sports and Activities Information Director for the Washington Interscholastic Activities Associaton.
Johnson will be the primary media contact for WIAA sports and activities and will manage the design and production of all WIAA publications.
A 2007 graduate of Washougal High School, Johnson was the Assistant Director of Athletic Communication for the University of Oregon. Johnson has BA in communication from Washington State and a master’s degree in kinesiology from Boise State.
“We’re looking forward to Casey being on staff,” WIAA Executive Director Mike Colbrese said. “He brings a wealth of experience and understanding of school programs.”
Johnson was a three-sport athlete at Washougal.
