State baseball all-star game; and softball stars

The 2014 All State Series, featuring the top senior baseball players from Washington, will be played Saturday and Sunday at Yakima County Stadium.

Six players from The Columbian’s readership area have been selected to play:

Dakody Clemmer, Mountain View
Andrew Haley, Columbia River
Jake Hawken, Union
Hunter Huddleston, Woodland
Hayden Humphrey, Battle Ground
Seth Rayburn, Columbia River

The players have been split up among four teams. Two games will be played Saturday, beginning at noon. The losers will play for third place at 10:15 a.m. Sunday and the winners will play for first place at 1:30 p.m.

Tournament passes are $35 for a family, $12 for adults, and $8 for students and senior citizens. For more information, go to allstatebaseball.com
