A baseball player from Heritage High School will remain in the Northwest to play college ball, and a football player from Battle Ground is heading to California to continue his career.

Bryce Hendy, who helped the Heritage Timberwolves to the Class 4A state baseball elite eight last year, has signed to play baseball next school year at Oregon Institute of Technology in Klamath Falls.

Colby Cahoon will take his receiving talents to Menlo College in Atherton, Calif., south of San Francisco. Cahoon caught 32 passes for 672 yards and 10 touchdowns for the Tigers in the fall.
