Two locals win titles at Best of West wrestling

Mountain View’s Kenji Yamashita and Evergreen’s Anthony Thomas captured individual championship at the Best of the West Tournament Saturday in Pasco.

Yamashita won the 138-pound division, while Battle Ground’s Adam Peterson placed fourth.

Thomas won the 170-pound division.

Also, Prairie’s Dallas Goodpaster was second at 220 pounds, and Mountain View’s Ben Dixon was third at 113 pounds.
