Golfer Bartek having a busy summer

Columbia River golfer Chloe Bartek will play in the U.S. Girls’ Junior Championship in Daly City, Calif. The tournament begins July 16.

On July 21, she is scheduled to leave for Hawaii, one of four girls to represent Oregon at the Girls Junior America’s Cup in Maui. (Southwest Washington golfers are part of the Oregon Golf Association.)

Bartek, who just completed her junior year at Columbia River, won her second consecutive district golf tournament in the spring and then finished seventh at the Class 3A state tournament.
