Monday’s prep highlights 4/30

SOFTBALL

Prairie 7, Camas 6 — The Falcons rallied with a two-run bottom of the seventh to edge Camas and create a three-way logjam atop the 3A Greater St. Helens League standings. Camas led 6-5 going into the seventh. Prairie scored the tying run on a wild pitch, and Alyssa Nance knocked in the game-winner. Prairie is now 9-2 in league with Camas and Kelso right behind at 8-2.

Mountain View 10, Fort Vancouver 0 — Nicole Kellams threw a 6-inning no-hitter, striking out 10 and walking one. A six-run sixth inning for Mountain View ended the game due to mercy rule.

GIRLS GOLF

Mountain View 166, Camas 190 — Mountain View’s Rachel Kim shot a 4-over-par 39 at Fairway Village for medalist honors. Clarisa Witherup and Ahreum Yang each had 42 and Jenna’e Lecomte added a 43 to score the Thunder’s best total of the year.
