4A GREATER ST. HELENS LEAGUE

Evergreen: Key players: Timur Zhividze, jr.; Ryan Ashbaker, jr.; Brody Voge, sr.; Jake Gulliford, sr.; Madison Van Zwol, sr. The Plainsmen are hoping to claim one of the three berths to the bi-district playoffs in what is a fairly wide-open league.

Union: Key players: Tyler Shadix, jr.; Davis Strawn, sr.; Tobias Martin, sr.; Danny Cohen, sr.; Nathaniel Cheney, jr. Titans are looking to build off last season and are led by four-year starters Martin and Cohen.

3A GREATER ST. HELENS LEAGUE

Camas: Key players: Wyatt Brown, sr.; Michael Koceja, sr. The Papermakers field a much younger team this season. But in Camas, it’s not about rebuilding, but reloading.

Prairie: Key players: Igor Shapoval, sr.; Nick Vanveen, jr.; Ben Mofford, sr.; Joe Semro, sr.; Brenden Shaw, sr.; Michah Ritchie, fr. The Falcons like their chances to be contenders in the 3A GSHL behind a solid senior core of players.

2A GREATER ST. HELENS LEAGUE

Hockinson: Key players: Langdon Roscoe, sr.; Brett Sparks, so.; Everett Klodt, sr.; Shawn Marion, jr.,; Emmanuel Gil, jr. The Hawks returns six starters from a team that reached the state semifinals last season. But there will be some key holes to fill in the lineup.

Washougal: Key players: Sam O’Hara, sr.; Jeremiah Palmer, sr.; Colton Sullivan, sr.; Michael Wright, sr. A solid group of seniors will lead the Panthers this season. But Washougal also has several good sophomores in midfield and forward positions who could help the Panthers challenge for the league title.

Woodland: Zack Seevers, so.,; Joey Hubenthal, sr.; Vince Dison, jr.,; Brandon Koening, jr.; Henry Warndahl, jr.; Carson Lefrancq, so. The Beavers have a young, but promising squad. They lack experience but are quite quick.

1A TRICO LEAGUE

King’s Way Christian: Key players: Sebastian Baker, sr.; Cody Krippner, sr.; Pierce Dunn, so. The third-year program lost nine players off last year’s roster. But the Knights still plan on moving forward and being competitive in the Trico League.
