Camas catcher Austin Barr featured

I wrote a story on Camas catcher Austin Barr that will run in Saturday’s edition of The Columbian. I focused mostly on his studies, Stanford, and his potential professional baseball career.

Also, I hope to catch up with Union catcher Clint Coulter later in the season. Both players are close friends. Both have signed with Pac-12 programs. Both expect to play pro ball. And both are highly ranked among high school catchers. It is quite possible that two of the top 10 high school catchers live in Clark County, Wash.
