Watch the state hoops draws live

Ever wonder what happens at the draws for the state basketball tournaments? Well for the first time, you can find out without making the trip up to Renton.

The Washington Interscholastic Activities Association will broadcast the draws live on Sunday at www.wiaanetwork.com.

The Class 2B and 1B coaches meeting kicks off the festivities at 11 a.m. with the 2B and 1B draws following at 11:30 a.m. The Class 2A and 1A coaches meeting will be at 1 p.m. and the draws at 1:30 p.m. The event ends with the 4A and 3A coaches meeting at 3 p.m. and the draws at 3:30 p.m.

The draws are open to the general public at the WIAA office at 435 Main Ave. S in Renton. But if you can’t make, the webcast is another option.
