This Thanksgiving, November 22, we want to invite those in the greater Portland area to join us for an unforgettable event: the 3rd annual causelife 5K Turkey Trot through the charming town of Ridgefield, Washington.

Gather your family, neighbors, and friends to join you for a morning of fun and exercise that will benefit poverty-stricken communities around the world that lack access to clean, safe drinking water.

Clean water means improved health, better economies, and more opportunities for education. It’s the catalyst behind families and communities escaping the cycle of poverty . . . a simple change that can transform lives forever. What a perfect way to kick off a day designed for gratitude, reflection, and thanks.

The Turkey Trot is designed with the whole family in mind, but it also includes challenges for more experienced athletes. Participants are encouraged to run, walk, and even push strollers during the race.

A group of amazing sponsors has committed to cover all race expenses so that 100 percent of the entry fees will go toward providing clean water to a community in need.

You can also take part in serving the local community by collecting nonperishable food items for a food bank in the area. We encourage every racer to bring a few items to contribute to the cause.

Register your family today by visiting causelife.org/nwrace. Here you’ll find directions, specific race times, and other important details. Each race participant will receive an official race t-shirt designed by a local artist, while supplies last.

Do something different this year. Register now and join us as we spend this Thanksgiving meeting the needs of others . . . giving impoverished families around the world one more reason to be thankful.

Don’t miss out on this incredible opportunity to start a new Thanksgiving tradition!

See you at the starting line!
