Main Street Marijuana ran out Thursday but on Friday got a new 5-pound shipment of four strains from Buddy Boy Farms.

According to Main Street’s Facebook page, the strains that came in Friday are: Vortex, Montana Silvertip, Royal Queen and Question Mark.

“We also have a new verbal agreement with Verdavante in place for a shipment of 50-pounds, which we’ll probably get next Friday,” said Main Street manager Ramsey Hamide. “They also should be here this weekend with a smaller shipment.”

Hamide said he thinks the store will have product available through the weekend – although with either store it’s always a good idea to call first and make sure.

New Vansterdam is also expecting to stay open through the weekend, depending on supply. That store gets four strains in from Cannseol on Saturday morning, which could possibly cause a slight delay in their 11 a.m. opening:

Ultra Lemon Haze (Sativa Dominant Hybrid)
THC: 16.8 percent
CBD: 1 percent

Pit Bull (Indica Dominant Hybrid)
THC: 15.6 percent
CBD: 1 percent

Girl Scout Cookies (Indica Dominanat Hybrid)
THC: 19.9 percent
CBD: 1 percent

Burmese Kush (Indica Dominant Hybrid)
THC: 15.6 percent
CBD: 1 percent

New Vansterdam is also expecting some pre-rolled joints in for the weekend, said Don Joling, the manager.

He suggested customers call or check the store’s social media before coming on Saturday morning, in case the shipment is delayed, but noted that the store will open once it arrives.

“We’ll be open every day, just maybe not open as much as we want to be,” Joling said.

Next week, the store will have the next shipments from Monkey Grass Farms, Peninsula Cannabis, Nine Points and CannaMan Farms, Joling said of New Vansterdam.

In the next two weeks Hamide said he thinks the worst of the shortage will be past and both stores will probably be able to remain open.

“In the next three weeks we’ve got between 130 and 140 pounds of product coming,” Hamide said. “I really think that’s going to be enough to sustain us.”

“Maybe then we’ll be able to change our name to ‘Mainstay Marijuana,'” Hamide said with a laugh.

Joling said he agreed that supply issues won’t last more than another week or two.

“By next weekend I don’t think we’ll have to close again,” Joling said. “We’ll still probably have to ration a little, but hopefully not for too much longer.”
