Update on Vancouver stores and supplies for July 16

Here’s a little update on stores and supplies for today:

Main Street Marijuana reopened with 1,200 packages of marijuana product on Tuesday at 11 a.m. – they sold 700 packages that day and are expecting similar demand today, said Ramsey Hamide, a manager.

“It was right on par with opening day sales,” Hamide said. “At some point today, we’ll see how it’s going, but we may want to make sure we can save some for customers coming in tomorrow.”

The store will put out regular updates on stock on its Twitter feed at @mainstmj.

Before opening today, the store posted this update: “We’ve got 2 & 4 gram Blue Dream packs $55/$100 and Sour Kush J’s for $80”

Hamide said the store expects a new shipment in from Buddy Boy Farms on Thursday night, and another from Farmer J’s on Friday, which means Main Street Marijuana should be able to stay open all weekend.

“Between the delivery Thursday and the delivery Friday we’ll probably have 8 or 8.5 pounds,” Hamide said. “We hope we’ll be able to stay open the rest of the year. We’d also like to be open longer than 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.”

Eventually the hours will shift to 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., he said, but the supply stream from growers will have to improve before that happens.

It looks like perhaps in three or four weeks things will settle down and supplies will be more readily available, he said.

New Vansterdam will reopen on Friday at 11 a.m. with new stock as well.

Cheers!
