Once again, the line of customers stretched around the block at the reopening of Main Street Marijuana today.

The store had to shut down over the weekend because it ran out of stock, but it got a new shipment Monday night and was able to reopen this morning at 11 a.m.

About 100 people waited in line for the doors to reopen.

“Wow,” manager Ramsey Hamide said after checking out the scene. “Just like we anticipated we’re quickly heading in the right direction with more strains, more product lines and lower prices.”

Because of the demand, the store is once again restricting customers to one marijuana item (a package of joints, a 2-gram bag or a 4-gram bag) per customer until the supply situation improves.

“We want to make sure everybody can get something,” Hamide said.

Here are the prices right now:

Sour Kush 2 Grams – $55 
Sour Kush Pre-roll 5 Grams – $80 
Blue Dream 2 Grams – $55 4 Grams – $100 
Famous Kush 2 Grams – $55

The store should get in between 7.5 and 10 pounds of product from Buddy Boy Farms in the next day or two, with other shipments from Farmer J’s and Buddy Boy in the following week, he said.

The store also is working on buying product from a grower that has 33,000 pre-rolled joints available.

Chris Stipe, another manager at the store, said he thinks Main Street Marijuana will be able to stay open all week with the shipments that owners are expecting.

“We’re securing stock as we go,” Stipe said. “I think we’ll have plenty for the next week.”

By noon, the line had thinned to about 25 customers waiting outside. The owners expect steady business to continue throughout the week.

As for Vancouver’s other pot store, New Vansterdam, which ran out of stock on Sunday night, plans to reopen on Friday at 11 a.m.
